Oktoberfest Event
 EAS invites attendees to reserve their tickets for the Oktoberfest Event on Wednesday evening October 1, 2008 from 17.30 to 22.00 in the Paulaner Beer Tent on the Theresienwiese also known as the Oktoberfest.
Location: Winzerer Fahndl Paulaner Tent, Theresienwiese, Haupt Eingang Entrance! (see map below)
Time: Attendees are requested to arrive to the tent no later than 18.00. Attendees must bring their entrance ticket and wear their EAS 2008 beer tent bracelet in order to get in.
Food and Drink: Appetizers will be served upon arrival on all tables. The menu consists of various Bavarian appetizers, a full main course grill menu of sausages, pork and sauerkraut along with a dessert. Attendees will receive three drink tickets to be used for beer and soft drinks. Any other type of drink such as Schnapps will be billed separately.
Dress: Attendees may choose to wear typical Bavarian dress or attend in business casual clothing such as khakis and a shirt or nice jeans and a shirt. The environment is causal.
Table Reservations: EAS will reserve tables for reservations of 8 or more persons. Attendees must book all seats under one name to be identified as one table. Tables seat between 11 and 12 persons. Click here to view the seating area in the Paulaner tent (pdf). All other seats are available on a first come first served basis. Come early and get a great spot at the Oktoberfest!
Transportation to Oktoberfest: EAS recommends that all attendees ride the U-Bahn/Metro system to the Oktoberfest. Attendees must take the U4 or U5 Train and exit at the Theresienwiese stop (follow the crowds)! Proceed to the main midway and look for the Paulaner Beer Tent with the large tower.
The Winzerer Fähndl-Paulaner Tent is number 6 on the map. The Kuffler wine for the Summer Meeting gathering is Tent number 9. Attendees will be exiting at the U-Bahn station on the lower right corner of the map.
Taking a taxi home form the Oktoberfest is an option as well. Thousands of taxis will be stationed in the designated taxi stops near the Oktoberfest. Click here for more transportation information.
